When all the elements fall into place in perfect harmony, the resulting frivolity and laughter go far beyond the words on the page to reveal utter hysteria. Such is the case with Anglo-Franco Fusion Farce DON'T DRESS OF DINNER by Marc Camoletti, adapted by Robin Hawdon, now onstage at Theatre Palisades through May 11.

Rubicon Theatre continues the company's 16th Not Your Typical Season with a special run of Love, Loss, and What I Wore -- a witty and wise celebration of womanhood adapted by Nora and Delia Ephron, creators of such hits as 'When Harry Met Sally,' 'Sleepless in Seattle,' 'You've Got Mail,' 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' and 'Silkwood.'

The chamber music concert co-presented with 92nd Street Y featuring The Mary and James G. Wallach Artist-in-Residence Yefim Bronfman, originally scheduled for March 30, has been postponed to Friday, May 23, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. at 92nd Street Y at Mr. Bronfman's request, due to an unforeseen scheduling issue. Tickets originally issued for March 30 will be honored on May 23.

It started out as live tribute last November. Lenny Kaye, Arto Lindsay, Voidoids' Ivan Julian and others convened at NYC's Bowery Electric to pay homage to the late, great Lou Reed.

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts presents the West Coast premiere of A Coffin in Egypt, a new chamber opera in one act, based on the play, A Coffin in Egypt by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Horton Foote, for three performances only April 23, 25 and 27 in the Bram Goldsmith Theater. A Coffin in Egypt stars mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade, one of opera's most beloved figures, whose formidable bravura has won her wide acclaim. Ricky Ian Gordon, the composer, has also composed The Grapes of Wrath, Rappahannock County, and Orpheus and Euridice. Leonard Foglia, librettist and director, directed Master Class on Broadway and Jake Heggie's Opera Last Acts.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will host 22 theatrical offerings from 20 different countries during WORLD STAGES: International Theater Festival 2014 that will run for three weeks March 10-30, 2014 throughout the Center. Villon opens tonight, Feb. 15, presented by Padua Productions in a guest production at the Odyssey Theatre.

Today marked the acceptance of the Grand Orgue Pierre-Beique by the OSM at its home, Maison symphonique de Montreal. This major stage, which confirms that production of the organ is now complete, begins the break-in period for the instrument, which will culminate with the inaugural concert on May 28. The event took place in the presence of Olivier Latry, OSM organist emeritus and titular organist at the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris, whose role for the occasion was to carry out acceptance of the instrument, and Jacquelin Rochette, artistic director at Casavant Freres, who received the acceptance.

Previews began Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street) with opening night scheduled for tonight, November 13, 2013 and a final performance set for Sunday, January 5, 2014. 700 Sundays is performed and written by Mr. Crystal with additional content by Alan Zweibel and direction by Des McAnuff.

New York Live Arts will present the U.S. premieres of Israeli choreographer Arkadi Zaides and musical quartet Quator Leonis' A response to Dig Deep, tonight, October 10 at 7:30pm and French artist Jeanne Mordoj's La Poeme October 11 & 12 at 7:30pm. Co-presented with Villa Gillet's Walls and Bridges Festival, Live Arts continues its partnership with the Franco-American arts and ideas series.
