The Joyce Theater Foundation, Linda Shelton Executive Director, proudly presents the U.S. debut of Le Centre National de Danse Contemporaine-Angers (CNDC) from March 10 - 15. For this highly anticipated debut, CNDC, under the artistic direction of former Merce Cunningham dancer and prote?ge? Robert Swinston, will perform Event, a compilation of excerpts from pieces choreographed by Cunningham from 1965-1990. State Theatre Company and Adina Apartment Hotels in association with Arts Projects Australia and the Adelaide Festival Centre present PETER BROOK'S THE SUIT in a run exclusive to Adelaide from the Theatre des Bouffes du Nord. Karen Carpenter, a producer, director and teacher, a theater-maker for more than 30 years, has been appointed the interim Artistic Director of the William Inge Center for the Arts and the 34th Annual William Inge Theatre Festival. The Inge Festival is the Official Theater Festival of the State of Kansas, hosted on the campus of Independence Community College, which houses the William Inge archives.
