A great, big Broadway season is on its way, with fourteen productions already slated to open in the next few months. With weeks until the craziness begins, there is still plenty of time to catch up on what's been going on at Broadway's already occupied theaters. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents An Evening with Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin tonight, February 18 to the 23rd, 2014 in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater.

According to published reports, stage and screen star Christopher Malcolm passed away on February 15 from cancer. He was 67 years old.

Appearing together again after their Tony Award winning performances in Evita, Patti LuPone joins Mandy Patinkin onstage for eight performances. Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin are two of Broadway's most venerated performers, having both won a Tony Award for their performances in Andrew Lloyd Webber's groundbreaking Evita in 1980. Since then they have both starred in film, television, the concert stage and back to Broadway. An Evening with Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin brings them together again - at last. Press opening night is Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.

Marjorie Barnes, internationally known jazz and Broadway performer and former member of The 5th Dimension is back by popular demand to perform an exclusive benefit concert for Trustus Theatre accompanied by the renowned Dick Goodwin and his fabulous Big Band sound. Tony Award winner and Broadway star Patti LuPone returns to Carnegie Hall on Thursday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, presenting her solo show, Far Away Places-a travelogue of styles and stories that traces the actress's wanderlust with songs from the likes of Kurt Weill, Cole Porter, and Edith Piaf, conceived and directed by Scott Wittman, and with music direction and arrangements by Joseph Thalken.

With a book and lyrics by George Haimsohn and Robin Miller, music by Jim Wise, and musical direction byRob Berman (The Pajama Game, Finian's Rainbow), DAMES AT SEA will be directed and choreographed by three time Tony Award nominee Randy Skinner (42nd Street, Irving Berlin's White Christmas). Amphibian Stage Productions announced today that it will present Nobody's Hart: Diana Sheehan Sings the Lyrics of Lorenz Hart this fall from September 12 through 15, 2013. The cabaret, which pays tribute to the Broadway lyricist, with music by Richard Rodgers, will be presented as additional programming outside of the company's ongoing 2013 season.
