The Little Foxes runs tonight, September 23, through October 30, 2016 in the Kreeger Theater.

The Public Theater recently announced that Louis Cancelmi, last seen as Caliban in the Shakespeare in the Park production of The Tempest, had stepped into the company of Troilus and Cressida as Achilles, replacing David Harbour, who suffered an injury during previews and will be unable to complete the run. The play celebrates its opening tonight, August 9, after a short delay.

Instead of the usual gala fare -- bits of firecracker variations and pieces of ballet classics -- Sergei Danilian's 'Ardani 25 Dance Gala' at New York City Center, August 19 and 20, is classic Danilian. The intrepid impresario, who has never side-stepped risk, will celebrate Ardani Artists's quarter century of producing in the United States and abroad with a trio of U.S. premieres, two by young, unknown, but up-and-coming Russian choreographers, and one by American Ballet Theatre principal Marcelo Gomes.

 Fun House Theatre and Film makes their first appearance at the Festival of Independent Theatres with a production of Charlie Varon'sRush Limbaugh in Night School directed by Jeff Swearingen and featuring Alex Duva, age 12, as Limbaugh along with 3 other young actors tackling over a dozen characters in a comedy as rotund as its namesake. These bad boys of the FIT will take audiences on a 45 minute adventure of irreverent and mischevious satire in a free for all of shenanigans only Swearingen could stage and the crazy kids of Fun House could pull off. 

California Shakespeare Theater's 25th anniversary season at the Bruns Amphitheater continues with August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning story of the American Dream deferred, Fences, directed by Raelle Myrick-Hodges in her Cal Shakes debut. Fences, which plays from July 6 through July 31, marks the first time Cal Shakes has presented August Wilson's work on its stage. Casting has been confirmed for the world premiere of a new version of Maxim Gorky's Vassa Zheleznova, coming to Southwark Playhouse. The production will run Wednesday 15 June - Saturday 9 July 2016, with an official opening scheduled for Friday, 17 June 2016 at 8pm.

The Old Globe presents Nick Payne's Broadway hit play CONSTELLATIONS, directed by the Globe's own Richard Seer. Christian Coulson and Victoria Frings lead the two-person play, which runs now through May 8, 2016, in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Opening night is tonight, April 14 at 8:00 p.m.
