A dramatization of co-author Beacham's real-life experience collaborating with Orson Welles in the months leading up to his death, Maverick begins previews at The Connelly Theater (220 E. 4th St., between Ave. A & Ave. B) on February 6, with opening night set for February 13 for a limited run through March 2. Beetlebung Road LLC, a new theater production company, will launch November 15 to December 9 with a bi-coastal production of Sam Shepard's 'Fool for Love,' to be presented November 15 to December 2 by Theater for the New City, 155 First Ave., Manhattan and December 6 to 9 by The Lounge Theatre, 6201 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles.  The production, directed by Kymberly Harris, will arise from a careful artistic process of immersion on many levels.  The company chose to debut at Theater for the New City (TNC) as part of that process: to honor and recapture the path of Shepard's 'Buried Child,' which was commissioned by TNC and premiered there in 1978.

The Festival events will kick off on Monday, October 22 with Thank You, 30!, a gala event to celebrate the 30th Annual Festival.

 Last year, the four members of the Cranberries – Dolores O'Riordan, Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan, and Fergal Lawler – came together to plan a 25 th Anniversary box set release for their debut album, Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?, one of the definitive indie albums of all time. Following Dolores' untimely death in January this year, the remaining band members have decided to go ahead with the album's expanded 25 th Anniversary Edition box set, which is set for global release on October 19 by Island/UMe in 4CD and digital audio formats. On the same date, a 2CD Deluxe package pairing the remastered album with session outtakes, B-sides, the band's debut EP, and early demos will be released, as well as digital and vinyl editions of the remastered album, including a 180-gram black LP and a limited edition color LP.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) and the Onassis Foundation USA announced today six free performances of THE GOSPEL AT COLONUS, the groundbreaking re-telling of Sophocles' classic, for a limited engagement, September 4-9 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. With book, original lyrics, and direction by Lee Breuer and original music, adapted lyrics, and music direction by Bob Telson, the iconic musical returns to New York City for the first time since 2004 to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the original production at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and to honor visionary director Lee Breuer for his lifetime of excellence and historic collaboration with The Public Theater.

THE GOSPEL AT COLONUS will return to New York this fall, lighting up the Delacorte Theater in September.

The Kitchen's Spring 2018 Gala celebrates Nan Goldin and Lydia Lunch, two iconic American artists whose careers were borne of, deeply influenced, and have now engrained in collective memory the underground artistic spirit and political underpinnings of pre-gentrification Downtown New York subcultures (May 16). The evening features performances by New York's own post-punk band Bush Tetras, saxophonist and vocalist James Chance, and Australian singer JG Thirlwell & Ensemble with special guests. The after-party, hosted by Nicolas Jaar, will include a DJ set by Veronica Vasicka as well as performances by Retrovirus along with Lydia Lunch.
