Stable Cable Lab Co. to Stage Max Baker's BECAUSE ME at The Wild Project, 10/29-11/7

Stable Cable Lab Co. will present Max Baker's un-romantic comedy, Because Me. The production will play a limited engagement at the Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street between Avenues A and B) October 28-November 7. Performances will be October 29, 30, & 31, November 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7 at 7:30pm, Saturday, October 31 & November 7 at 2pm, and Monday, November 2 at 1pm. Tickets ($2-$20) can be purchased in advance at www.stablecablelabco.org or by calling OvationTix at(866) 811-4111. Tickets are being sold on a sliding scale, with the price increasing $2 every performance day.

John Aylward, a Seattle treasure who went on to make a name for himself in Hollywood with recurring roles on ER, The West Wing, and Mad Men, will play the family patriarch Big Daddy. The Old Globe today announced the full cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Bright Star, a new American musical featuring music by Edie Brickell and Steve Martin, lyrics by Brickell, and book by Martin, based on an original story by Martin and Brickell. Directed by Walter Bobbie, Bright Star will run September 13 - November 2, 2014 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run September 13 - September 27. Opening night is Sunday, September 28 at 7:00 p.m. Single tickets go on sale on Friday, August 8 at noon.
