Andrea Martin is a two-time Emmy Award winner for the critically acclaimed sketch comedy series SCTV, and has received more Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations as Featured Actress in a Musical than any other actress, winning both awards for her role in My Favorite Year. She is widely known for her role in the film My Big Fat Greek Wedding and was last seen on Broadway opposite Geoffrey Rush and Susan Sarandon in Exit the King. Her one-woman show Final Days! Mary J. Davis will present DISASTER! written by Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick, at St. Luke's Theatre starting on October 14, opening Monday, November 4. DISASTER! is a musical based on 1970's disaster movies with a score consisting of 1970's pop, rock and disco hit songs. Directed by Jack Plotnick, choreographed by Denis Jones and music direction by Larry Pressgrove. Disaster! previously ran in 2012.

According to the New York Daily News, Tony and Emmy award winner Andrea Martin will play 'Berthe' in Diane Paulus' revival of the Stephen Schwartz musical Pippin, running Dec. 5-Jan. 20 at Cambridge's American Repertory Theater, with hopes of heading to Broadway.

A Christmas Carol is now in previews on Broadway! The holiday masterpiece, A Christmas Carol, comes to Broadway this holiday season for eight weeks only following critically acclaimed runs at London's Old Vic. On Sunday, November 22nd, Tony Award winner and Broadway star Andrea Martin will be live in the National Arts Centre Theatre in Ottawa to read aloud Mordecai Richler's classic children's story, 'Jacob Two-Two Meets the Hooded Fang' for one special afternoon. The reading, abridged by David S. Craig and presented in association with TD Canadian Children's Book Week, is part of the NAC English Theatre's Family 3 series. EXIT THE KING is a hilarious and poignant comedy about a megalomaniacal ruler, King Berenger (Rush) whose incompetence has left his country in near ruin. Despite the efforts of Queen Marguerite (Sarandon) and the other members of the court to convince the King he has only 90 minutes left to live, he refuses to relinquish any control.
