Tony Award winner Blair Brown ("Orange Is The New Black," "Fringe," Copenhagen, Nikolai and the Others) has joined the cast of The Parisian Woman, the electrifying new power play by "House of Cards" creator Beau Willimon (Farragut North, Ides of March), directed by Tony Award winner Pam MacKinnon (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Clybourne Park) debuting on Broadway this fall.

The cast is set for the acclaimed Matthew Bourne / New Adventures production of "The Red Shoes." Presented by Center Theatre Group and Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center, the American premiere of "The Red Shoes" runs September 15 through October 1, 2017, with the opening set for September 19.

After nearly 20 years leading the internationally focused Lincoln Center Festival, Director Nigel Redden announced today that the 2017 Festival will be his last. He will step down in September to concentrate on the artistic expansion of the annual Spoleto Festival USA in Charleston, South Carolina, where he serves as general director, as well as other global artistic projects.

 The Mountain Play Association, the San Francisco Bay Area's most magical outdoor theater experience, will present the timeless classic Disney's Beauty and the Beast directed by Jay Manley for their 104th season. Based on the French fairy tale of the same name by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont, Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST tells the story of a monstrous prince and a young woman who fall in love. Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will take place every Sunday from May 21 to June 18, 2017.

San Francisco Ballet, long recognized for pushing boundaries in dance, has announced its 2017-18 Season program and schedule. This summer, SF Ballet will return to Festival Napa Valley for one performance only on Friday, July 21, 2017, accompanied by members of the SF Ballet Orchestra. In addition, this October, the Company will once again participate in World Ballet Day LIVE, a day-long streaming event (details to be announced).

?The King's Theatre Glasgow and First Family Entertainment have announced that River City star Gary Lamont and Rab C. Nesbitt actress Elaine MacKenzie Ellis will appear in this year's spell-binding production of Cinderella, alongside Gregor Fisher, Des Clarke and Tony Roper. 

Shows are opening (Carolyn German unveils her latest, Go From Here, and Nashville Ballet revives Carmina Burana, both this weekend), shows are closing (your last chance to catch The Taffetas at Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre before they go the way of The Plaids is this weekend) and The Miss Firecracker Contest is back onstage at Donelson's Larry Keeton Theatre for the second of three weekends. The King's Theatre Glasgow and First Family Entertainment are thrilled to announce Scottish comedy legend Gregor Fisher will be reuniting with his Rab C. Nesbitt co-star Tony Roper in the godmother of all pantomimes, Cinderella. Also returning to the stage due to popular demand is Capital FM presenter Des Clarke marking his fifth consecutive year in the King's legendary panto. The rags to riches tale of Cinderella makes its tenth appearance in the history of the King's traditional pantomime from Friday 2 December 2016 until Sunday 8 January 2017.
