Acorn Productions, the 501(c)3 organization that operates the Naked Shakespeare series, has entered into a collaborative agreement with the Maine Charitable Mechanics Association (MCMA), the non-profit organization that owns and operates Mechanics Hall, located at 519 Congress Street, to complete the final stages of renovations to the third floor ballroom space so that the venue can be licensed for public performances.

Veronica Covalesky and Nick Leasure, at 481 Ebelhare Road in Pottstown, PA. Directed by Seth Reich, the production features a cast of New York actors who will perform the play on the actual porch of the Sycamore Hill home.

Mr. O'Brien will delight the audience with stories about his prolific life in the theatre. Mr. O'Brien's work can be seen in The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park production of Much Ado About Nothing, which runs June 3rd through July 6th in Central Park. Just announced, he will be directing Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane in a new version of Terrence McNally's It's Only A Play, opening on Broadway in September, 2014.

Critically acclaimed theatre company Third Man Theatre are working at the Old Red Lion for the first time, with the London transfer of their brand new full-length show, Mugs Arrows, which was developed and premiered at the Bike Shed Theatre, Exeter as part of their Residency programme in 2013 receiving rave reviews. The show will run at the Old Red Lion Theatre, Islington from today, 3rd - 21s June 2014. Press night is set for Thursday 5th June, 7.30pm.

Rising Sun Performance Company's Founding Artistic Director announced today that their upcoming production of 'Donkey' by John Patrick Bray is slated to be published and licensed with Next Stage Press. This is will be Bray's third publishing with Next Stage Press, Bray's other plays available for licensing with Next Stage Press include Hound and Liner Notes, which were also produced at the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity (2009, 2010); Trickster at the Gate, and short plays in 64 Squares and Game Night. Donkey will be available for licensing in late June 2014.
