The National Alliance for Musical Theatre just announced the preliminary directors and casting for its 27th ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS. The Festival will take place on Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).

Academy Award and Grammy® winning artist, Melissa Etheridge, will take the stage to perform songs from her album, This is M.E., as well as some of her greatest hits like 'Come to My Window,' 'I'm The Only One' and 'I Want To Come Over' at Mayo Performing Arts Center on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 8 pm. Tickets are $59-$109.

Final casting is today announced for the World Premiere of Pure Imagination, which celebrates the songs of Leslie Bricusse, one of the most prolific and well loved film and musical theatre songwriters of our time.

Melissa Etheridge, Grammy and Academy Award Winning singer-songwriter, will be a Keynote speaker during the Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition (CWCBExpo), September 16-18 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA.  Her much anticipated Keynote Address will take place on Thursday, September 17th at 2pm.  The CWCBExpo in LA is the leading event for the legalized and medical marijuana industries.

First premiered by the Royal Shakespeare Company at Hampstead Theatre in 2010, this tour marks the U.S. premiere of Dunsinane after a highly successful tour to East Asia and Russia in spring 2014. Hailed by The Guardian as 'a work of compelling intelligence, provocation and wit,' Dunsinane will play at the Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) from tonight, February 4-21, 2015.
