Based on the haunting true story of an American explorer and entrepreneur, this riveting musical is composed by Adam Guettel, who also wrote PSP's 2011 award-winning hit, The Light in the Piazza. Directed by PSP Co-Artistic Producer Peter Jorgensen, Floyd Collins features a star-studded cast including Arctic Air's Kevin McNulty and Republic of Doyle's Krystin Pellerin, led by the dynamic Bermuda-born Daren A. Herbert in the title role.

Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit, set to open in previews on 1 March at the Gielgud Theatre, features Angela Lansbury reprising her role after the play's New York staging in 2009. Lansbury plays a medium hired by a skeptical novelist who actually manages to call up the spirit of his first wife during a seance that wasn't meant to succeed - a role for which she won her fifth Tony Award. Lansbury talked to the Irish Times about her upcoming performance on the West End, her career thus far, and her favorite kind of tea.

In April, audiences will share a thrilling Festival-commissioned world premiere-another coup in Virginia Arts Festival's rich history of "see-it-here-first" performances. Stewart Copeland-famed drummer for the iconic 80's rock band The Police-will debut his new score for the epic 1925 silent film Ben-Hur. One of Rolling Stone's greatest drummers of all time, Copeland is also an accomplished composer who has written for orchestra, ballet and film (including Francis Ford Coppola's Rumble Fish and Oliver Stone's Wall Street).

The annual Halloween haunt at Walt Disney Concert Hall features one of the most classic horror movies of the 1920's, The Phantom of the Opera, starring Lon Chaney as Erik, the Phantom, in make-up he famously constructed for the role. The projection of the 1925 silent film will be accompanied by a live soundtrack performed by organist Clark Wilson on Halloween, tonight, October 31, 2013 at 8:00 PM.

King returns to the historic Morris Performing Arts Center in South Bend, Indiana, tonight, October 6, performance at 7:30 p.m. Born on a cotton plantation in rural Mississippi in September of 1925, B.B. King will be 88 years old when he returns to the Morris with his trusty guitar 'Lucille.'
