Establishing the Troubadour Theatre Company in 1995, Matt Walker today wears three hats quite well as its founder, artistic director and director. The TexARTS Professional Series presents the Aaron Sorkin drama, A Few Good Men at the Kam and James Morris Theatre, October 7 - 16, 2016. First produced on Broadway in 1989 and inspiring an Academy Award-nominated film of the same name, Aaron Sorkin's A Few Good Men tells the story of military lawyers at a court-martial who uncover a high-level conspiracy in the course of defending their clients, two United States Marines accused of murder. Based on events that took place at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in July 1986, A Few Good Men is a riveting courtroom drama that investigates both the nature of our military mentality and the Marine code of honor.

The New York Philharmonic has announced the 2016-17 season's Insights at the Atrium series, free events exploring themes of the Philharmonic's concert season through multimedia lectures, conversations, and panel discussions. Expanding to eight events this season, Insights at the Atrium has gained in popularity since its inception in 2011, helping thousands of audience members delve more deeply into the music, musicians, and ideas featured in the Philharmonic's season through a dynamic and accessible forum. All events are held at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center and begin at 7:30 p.m.

W. E. B. DU BOIS: A Man for All Times, written and directed by Alexa Kelly (using many of Du Bois own words), featuring BrIan Richardson, with costumes by Terry Leong (Conan O'Brian Show), lighting by Joyce Liao (Pan Asian Rep. David Holveck, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Kimmel Center, Inc., announces the contract extension of Anne Ewers, President & CEO of Kimmel Center Inc., through the 2019-20 season. The Board unanimously voted to extend Ewers' contract crediting her creative artistic leadership and the Center's strong financial stability throughout her tenure.
