Last night the Dramatists Guild Foundation (DGF) hosted its annual DGF Gala to celebrate artists and honor patrons of the American theater community in gratitude of their continued support of emerging writers and creators at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in NYC. Jason Alexander may have said it best: “a world without writers is just mimes and improv.”

In addition to producing great theatre works, Primary Stages produced one of this season's most exciting Galas. The 2017 event, celebrating Artistic Honorees Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty, Producer Honorees Janet B. Rosen & Marvin Rosen, and Corporate Honorees Jose Mendez and Katie Graziano, was a glamorous and talent-filled evening at Tribeca 360 with a full view of lower Manhattan as a backdrop to the festivities.

TOT, ABER GLÜCKLICH - Lucky Stiff ist eine temporeiche Musical-Komodie unter dem Motto „Erben tut weh". Musikalisch wird von Rock uber Pop bis hin zum Jazz alles geboten. In bester Revolverkomodien-Manier besticht das Musical auch durch seinen makaberen britischen Humor. Die Premiere am Theater fur Niedersachen in Hildesheim fand am vergangenen Samstag statt. Das Publikum hatte einen Heidenspaß und, auch der Presse hats gefallen.
