Broadway Musicals of 1927 kicks off the Town Hall's 10th Anniversary season of the critically acclaimed Broadway By The Year® series on Monday, February 22nd at 8PM. Alexander Gemignani also will star in and direct the show. Finian's Rainbow star Kate Baldwin; triple threat Melinda Sullivan; and cabaret star Carole Bufford join the cast which includes Marc Kudisch (9 to 5); Chad Kimball (Memphis); and from Ragtime; Quentin Earl Darrington, Bobby Steggert, Ron Bohmer, and Christiane Noll. Christopher Fitzgerald (Finian's Rainbow) acclaimed hoofer, Kendrick Jones are also featured.

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming production of BACKBEAT at the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow. The production will be the onstage premiere of the musical adapation, based on the hit film about the Beatles. The cast will include Isabella Calthorpe and Andy Knott. Also Jamie Blackley, Oliver Bennett, Daniel Healy, Kate Hodgson, Patrick Lannigan, Alex Robertson and Charles Swift. The production will run from February 9th through March 6th.

Beowulf Alley Theatre's Old Time Radio Theatre presents an exciting series of live presentations of old radio shows from the golden age at the theatre, 11 South 6th Avenue (Downtown between Broadway and Congress) in the first and third week of each month. CAPA's 2009 Summer Movie Series, the longest-running classic film series in America, celebrates its 39th anniversary with a lineup of classics, cult favorites, and most beloved films.
