CAPA's 2009 Summer Movie Series, the longest-running classic film series in America, celebrates its 39th anniversary with a lineup of classics, cult favorites, and most beloved films. 'Biodegradable Hero', starring Yori Yanover has been extended. Originally slated to be performed through July 26, it has now been extended through August 30. The show, which is performed at Broadway Comedy Club, 318 West 53rd Street has added the following dates: Full show: Sundays, July 26, Aug. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 @ 5 p.m. Cameo apperances: Meshuganeh Comedy, Thursdays, Aug. 6 & 27 @ 10 p.m.

Alan Gilbert, who will become Music Director of the New York Philharmonic in September 2009, returns to New York to lead two weeks of programs with the Orchestra. The first series of concerts ? Thursday, April 30, 2009, at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2, and 8:00 p.m., and Tuesday, May 5, at 7:30 p.m. will comprise Dvorák?s The Golden Spinning Wheel; Saint-Saëns?s Violin Concerto No. 3, with Joshua Bell as soloist; and Martin's Symphony No. 4.

The producers of WEST SIDE STORY have confirmed full casting for the new Broadway production.

At the dawn of the atomic age, before Boeing Boeing and Doris Day rom-coms, there was THE TENDER TRAP, a light sex comedy about a New York bachelor and the various women seeking to marry him. This will be the first New York production of THE TENDER TRAP since its 1954 Broadway premiere.

It was announced today that the upcoming previously announced revival of West Side Story will begin previews on February 23, 2009 with an official opening slated for March 19, 2009.
