TheatreWorks Silicon Valley continues its 2016/2017 season with a musical saga of immigrant America, Rags. From the creators of Fiddler on the Roof and Wicked, this exhilarating musical follows the journey of Jewish immigrants Rebecca and her son David, who find themselves navigating the teeming, turn-of-the-century tenements of New York.

The following acts are performing at City Winery Chicago (1200 W. Randolph St) throughout the month of March.

Stage Kiss by Sarah Ruhl, winner of the 2016 Steinberg Distinguished Playwright Award and a MacArthur 'genius' grant, will be directed by Courtney O'Connor at the Lyric Stage Company of Boston, opening February 26 and running through March 26, 2017. Previews begin February 24. 

The New York Philharmonic will return to Bravo! Vail in Colorado, celebrating its 30th season, for the Orchestra's 15th annual summer residency, July 21-28, 2017. The residency will include six orchestral concerts that honor the Philharmonic's legacy on the occasion of its 175th anniversary season and the conclusion of Alan Gilbert's tenure as Music Director.

Acclaimed Music Director Xian Zhang and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra present Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto and Elgar's Enigma Variations, February 23-26 in Englewood, Newark, Red Bank and Morristown. Pianist Kirill Gerstein-hailed as "alarmingly gifted" by Classical Review-returns to perform the Rachmaninoff concerto, one of the most enduring works in the canon.

Abingdon Theatre Company, under the artistic direction of Tony Speciale, presents the world premiere of CHESS MATCH NO. 5, conceived and directed by Anne Bogart, with text arranged by Jocelyn Clarke from the words of John Cage.

Music Director Alan Gilbert will lead the New York Philharmonic on the EUROPE / SPRING 2017 tour, March 23-April 7, 2017. The two-week tour - Alan Gilbert's ninth and final international tour as Music Director, the seventh with him to Europe - will feature fourteen concerts in seven countries.

Feel the love this February at Dino's Backstage and The Celebrity Room! The heart-stomping month of entertainment is highlighted by the return of the American music treasure, Marilyn Maye. NBC Sports Group will present coverage of 12 races during the upcoming 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series season, beginning with the iconic Grand Prix of Long Beach on Sunday, April 9, on NBCSN. Coverage will feature IndyCar's return to St. Louis and Gateway Motorsports Park on Sunday, August 26, historic circuits such as Road America and Watkins Glen, and the final nine races of the 2017 campaign, including the season finale at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday, Sept. 17. Once again, the 2017 IndyCar championship will be decided on NBCSN.

Lookingglass Theatre Company continues its Season with Mr. and Mrs. Pennyworth, written and directed by Ensemble Member Doug Hara. Mr. and Mrs. Pennyworth runs December 7, 2016 - February 19, 2017.

The Tank has announced their 2017 spring season line up. Performances are at The Tank's midtown home (151 West 46th Street, between 6th & 7th Avenues) as well as at various venues throughout NYC.

The performance will be held on Sunday, December 11 at 3pm. Cabaret on the Hudson is a series that features three outstanding cabaret performers or small groups, each bringing a 25 minute sampling of their New York City cabaret shows to Westchester, NY. Many of the performers are Broadway veterans and have performed in New York City venues such as 54 BELOW, the Oak Room at the Algonquin, Birdland, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, Iridium, the Metropolitan Room and Jazz at Lincoln Center to name a few. Cabaret on the Hudson will be hosted by multi-nominated Cabaret singer and host of the Music at the Mansion series, Corinna Sowers Adler and will feature Matt Baker on piano.  

California Musical Theatre announces the 2017 lineup for Sacramento Music Circus at the Wells Fargo Pavilion, the 67th season for the venerable institution.

Itzhak Perlman will return to the New York Philharmonic to conduct and perform Beethoven's Romances Nos. 1 and 2 for Violin and Orchestra, and to conduct Brahms's Symphony No. 4 and Academic Festival Overture, Today, November 15, 2016, at 7:30 p.m.

Berkeley Rep today announced that single tickets for the world premiere of the new musical Monsoon Wedding will go on sale to the general public on Monday, November 14. Monsoon Wedding will have its world premiere at Berkeley Rep's Roda Theatre next spring. Previews begin Friday, May 5, 2017 and the show runs through Sunday, June 25, 2017. Press night for Monsoon Weddingwill be Friday, May 19, 2017.
