Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) will host Druid, Ireland's most celebrated theatre company, and their critically acclaimed production of Waiting for Godot. Directed by Tony Award-winner Garry Hynes, Druid's production of Samuel Beckett's absurd, anarchic masterpiece will make its regional premiere at the Lansburgh Theatre (450 7th Street, NW) from April 17 through May 20, 2018 before it travels on to Chicago.

Jonathan Berry returns this spring to Steep to direct the U.S. premiere of Simon Stephens' Birdland. Stephens, who won the Tony and Olivier Awards for his The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, is Steep's Associate Playwright, and Birdland will be the fifth of his plays to be produced by the Edgewater ensemble. Steep Ensemble Member and Jeff Award-winning director Jonathan Berry recently directed Steppenwolf Theatre's You Got Older and The Crucible. Over the years, he has consistently produced some of Steep's most notable shows, including last year's sweeping epic Earthquakes in London and Laura Wade's Posh, which won the Non-Equity Jeff Award for Best Ensemble, and was nominated for Best Director and Best Production.

Following sold-out UK tours in 2016 and 2017, and a critically acclaimed hit run at the Arts Theatre in the West End in 2017, The Wipers Times will once again tour the UK this Autumn. It opens at Nottingham Theatre Royal on 28 August 2018, and visits Oxford, Exeter, Malvern, Leicester, Eastbourne and Birmingham before returning to the Arts Theatre in London for a 7 week season. The Donmar Warehouse today announces full casting for James Macdonald's new revival of William Congreve's Restoration comedy masterpiece The Way of The World. Haydn Gwynne will be playing the role of Lady Wishfort, replacing Linda Bassett who has sadly had to withdraw from the production before the start of rehearsals for personal reasons.

Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, announces the extension of All My Sons by Arthur Miller, directed by Charles Newell and featuring Kate Collins, John Judd and Timothy Edward Kane. American Honda Motor Co., Inc. and the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center (JACCC) present the mainland concert premiere of GRAMMY Award winners Tak Matsumoto and Daniel Ho's new album, Electric Island, Acoustic Sea. Following a sold-out 24-show tour in Japan and Hawaii earlier this year, Los Angeles audiences will be treated to two special events celebrating Gibson Guitar legend Matsumoto and ukulele virtuoso/multi-instrumentalist Ho's debut album. First, the duo will kick off their mainland premiere with an intimate Q&A and exclusive live performance - An Evening With Tak Matsumoto and Daniel Ho at the GRAMMY Museum in Downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 10 at 8:00pm. Then, four days later, a sensational live concert experience The Electric Island, Acoustic Sea Concert will rock JACCC's Aratani Theater in Little Tokyo on Saturday, October 14, 2017. Producers Sonia Friedman, Shakespeare's Globe and Paula Marie Blackare have announced complete casting for the critically acclaimed Shakespeare's Globe production of Farinelli and the King, starring three-time Tony Award-winner (Twelfth Night, Jerusalem, Boeing-Boeing) and Academy Award-winner (Bridge of Spies) Mark Rylance.

Full casting for the UK tour of Ira Levin's Tony-nominated classic thriller Deathtrap includes Sam Phillips (Clifford), Beverly Klein (Helga ten Dorp) and Julien Ball (Porter). They join the previously announced TV stars Paul Bradley (Holby City and EastEnders) as Sidney Bruhl and BAFTA nominee Jessie Wallace (EastEnders and Fings Ain't Wot They Used T'Be) as Myra Bruhl.

Mark Rylance, three-time Tony Award winner (Jerusalem, Boeing-Boeing, Twelfth Night) and Academy Award-winner (Bridge of Spies), will return to Broadway in the critically acclaimed Shakespeare's Globe production of FARINELLI AND THE KING, a new play with music by author and composer Claire van Kampen, it was announced today by producers Sonia Friedman, Shakespeare's Globe and Paula Marie Black.

59E59 Theaters will host the US premiere of INVINCIBLE written by Torben Betts, directed by Stephen Darcy, with original direction by Christopher Harper, at Brits Off Broadway. A brand new production of Ira Levin's Tony-nominated classic thriller Deathtrap will embark on a 12-week national tour for the first time in 20 years, opening September 2017, with press night at the Theatre Royal Brighton on Thursday 14 September.

In a new production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre to mark the 150th anniversary of T. W. Robertson's 1867 comedy - and the first UK production in over 20 years - Caste plays at the Finborough Theatre for nine Sunday and Monday evenings and Tuesday matinees from Sunday, 2 April 2017.
