Arkansas Repertory Theatre (The Rep), the state's largest professional nonprofit theatre, is proud to announce its 36th MainStage Season. The new season has been specially prepared for a newly renovated theatre, and will include new musicals and dramas, plus timeless classics to form a season that exemplifies The Rep's mission of producing diverse work of the highest artistic standards for its Arkansas audience.

At a media announcement today, Dancap Productions added two new shows to their 2011 line-up at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts: DONNY & MARIE and COLM WILKINSON IN CONCERT: BROADWAY AND BEYOND; and one new show at the Toronto Centre for the Arts, the explosive Broadway musical GREEN DAY'S AMERICAN IDIOT.

Shawn Wright recently wrapped two years in Toronto's JERSEY BOYS and is currently in London Ontario celebrating the genius of Stephen Sondheim in SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM on stage until Nov 6th 2010 at The Grand. The show also kicked off the 2010-2011 Mainstage Season for The Grand. Shawn spoke with BWW about his career, the show, and of course, Sondheim.
