Virtuoso vocalist Zeshan B is widely being recognized as one of the most unique singers to come out of Chicago. Husband-and-wife duo John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey make their annual fall pilgrimage to Cafe Carlyle with an all-new show, American Stories, November 6-17. The New York Times recently described John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey as "the supreme nightclub act of our time." A world-renowned guitarist and singer, John Pizzarelli has been entertaining audiences for over 20 years and has established himself as one of the prime contemporary interpreters of the Great American Songbook. Jessica Molaskey is a veteran of a dozen Broadway shows including the revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Sunday in the Park with George, which was nominated for nine Tony Awards. TIME has raved, "Sophisticated, jazzy and engaging, the Astaire-Rodgers of the cabaret world are at the top of their game."

Longtime comedians Steve Martin and Martin Short will appear at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts for a one night, pavilion-only show today, September 1, 2018. The show, 'An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life,' will include stand-up, film clips, musical numbers and conversations about their lives in show business. Martin and Short will be joined by the Grammy Award-winning bluegrass band The Steep Canyon Rangers and renowned jazz pianist and Jimmy Kimmel Live band member Jeff Babko.

Third Eye Theatre Ensemble celebrates their fifth season with Paula M. Kimper's Patience & Sarah: A Pioneering Love Story at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont, October 5th-October 21st. Set in Connecticut in the winter of 1816, the opera tells the powerful story of two young women who meet, fall in love, and resolve to devote their lives to each other.

Led Zeppelin Masters, the all-Australian production featuring Adelaide's Zep Boys and the 36 piece The Black Dog Orchestra, have announced a major European tour for 2019. The Tour includes for the first time 8 dates in mainland Europe in March ahead of 10 April dates in the UK commencing in Liverpool's Philharmonic on 2 April 2019, and concluding at London's Eventim Apollo on 14 April. The tour marks 50 years since the release of Led Zeppelin's self-titled debut album and its follow-up, Led Zeppelin II.

From May 16 to 27, The Negro Ensemble Company, Inc. will present the world premiere production of 'Hercules Didn't Wade in the Water' by Michael A Jones.  The play is winner of the troupe's 2017 Emerging Playwrights Competition.  Called a 'drama with comedy,' it is a story of displacement of Black families and the forces that lead to it in modern America.  Performances are at Theatre 80 St. Marks, 80 St. Marks Place.

Proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 92-year-old Palace Theatre today begins a full facelift of its 2,837-seat auditorium as part of an ongoing $6.5 million renovation. Adjacent to downtown Columbus' LeVeque Tower, the six-month, main-hall makeover will include the repair of damaged plaster, new paint in a new color scheme, all-new seats on the first floor, and fully refurbished seats in the balcony. As such, the Palace is now closed to the public, and will reopen in November 2018.
