The Ogunquit Playhouse, one of the Northeast's cultural jewels and a cornerstone of America's theatrical heritage, is celebrating its 85th Anniversary Season, and, true to its legacy, the 2017 season will be filled with the newest and brightest musicals, world and national premieres and a timeless classic, all complete with top-notch professional casts and creative teams direct from Broadway, Los Angeles, and London.

An epic romance retrieves from oblivion the lost story of the Holocaust of Libyan Jews in 'Benghazi Bergen-Belsen,' a play by Lahav Timor that is inspired by the Brenner Prize-winning 2016 novel of the same name by Yossi Sucary, the first book about Jews in World War II Libya. The play is translated from Hebrew by Inbal Timor and directed by Michal Gamily. La MaMa Theatre will present its world premiere run March 23 to April 9 in its Downstairs Theater, 66 East Fourth Street, Manhattan (East Village).

Two classic Puccini operas and a hidden opera gem make up Welsh National Opera's Love's Poisoned Chalice season, taking audiences on a journey of love, passion, heartbreak and tragedy through some of opera's greatest tear jerking music.

Hot off the heels of its critically acclaimed revival of Fiorello!, which was named a Critic's Pick by The New York Times, Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG) and Kate Maguire (Artistic Director/CEO) have announced BTG's 2017 Summer Theatre Season.

The Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University has announced its Spring 2017 exhibitions: Fred Eversley: Black, White, Gray; Tommy Hartung: King Solomon's Mines; Collection at Work; and Reflections: Louise Nevelson, 1967, on view February 17 - June 11, 2017. An opening reception will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 5-8 PM.
