Two-time Tony Award-winning Goodspeed Musicals has assembled six exciting teams - three led by prominent women directors - to helm the diverse productions planned this season: a tap-happy musical comedy, a beloved classic, a completely reinvented musical from some of the finest creative minds in musical theatre, two bold new musicals, and a holiday show for all ages.

The Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University has announced its Spring 2017 exhibitions: Fred Eversley: Black, White, Gray; Tommy Hartung: King Solomon's Mines; Collection at Work; and Reflections: Louise Nevelson, 1967, on view February 17 - June 11, 2017. An opening reception will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 5-8 PM.

Sunday, December 18 and Monday, December 19, 2016 at 7:00 pm, Works & Process at the Guggenheim presents the annual Holiday Concert featuring New York composers and a World Premiere Commission by Grawemeyer Award-winning Composer Sebastian Currier.  Celebrate the season with the joyous sounds of holiday music in the museum's iconic rotunda. George Steel conducts the Vox Vocal Ensemble in what has become a revered annual tradition.

Joseph Kesselring's Arsenic and Old Lace, a genteel and sometimes beguiling 'suspense comedy,' is a favorite among the nation's various and sundry community theater companies. And for good reason: It's slyly amusing, despite its age, and it features some genuinely engaging (if somewhat despicable, depending upon your perspective) characters who have entertained audiences for 75 years (it bowed on Broadway in 1941).

The Playroom Theater will present My Father's Voice: Letters From Ellis Island and The War in the Pacific 1938-1945, conceived and performed by Eric Krebs at The Playroom Theater (151 West 46th Street - just east of Broadway).

Back in February, BroadwayWorld reported that stage and screen star Kevin Kline would star in The Acting Company's reading presentation of Noel Coward's charming comedy PRESENT LAUGHTER. Now he's taking the show to Broadway, according to the New York Times.
