The Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Charles Dillingham, Interim Executive Director) announced their 2012-2013 season today. The season will include the rescheduled world premiere of Sleepless in Seattle - The Musical originally scheduled for this summer, the world premiere of the Broadway-bound comedy Under My Skin, Pulitzer Prize-winner Lynn Nottage's Intimate Apparel, Noel Coward's comedy Fallen Angels and a surprise production to be announced. In a partnership with Lythgoe Family Productions, a special presentation of A Snow White Christmas will be offered for the holiday season. The 2012-2013 Season begins September 2012.

For its fifth annual Summer Festival, Skylark Opera presents two contrasting American masterpieces, Victor Herbert's exquisite operetta MADEMOISELLE MODISTE and Leonard Bernstein's exuberant musical WONDERFUL TOWN. Two-time Tony Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Bobby Cannavale will star as Nick Arnstein opposite Lauren Ambrose, who will star as Fanny Brice, in the first Broadway revival of FUNNY GIRL since the 1964 original production. FUNNY GIRL, which features music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Bob Merrill and book by Isobel Lennart, will be directed by Tony Award-winner Bartlett Sher.

The new Broadway production of George Bernard Shaw's play Mrs. Warren's Profession will star Tony Award winner Cherry Jones as 'Kitty Warren' & Golden Globe winner Sally Hawkins making her Broadway debut as 'Vivie Warren.' The production will be directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd St). The cast will also feature Adam Driver as 'Frank Gardner', Mark Harelik as 'Sir George Crofts', Edward Hibbert as 'Mr. Praed' & Michael Siberry as 'Reverend Samuel Gardner'.

Elevator Repair Service (ERS) is hosting their spring benefit on Monday, May 3rd, 2010. The company is currently finishing the third play in a trilogy of critically acclaimed plays based on great American novels by William Faulkner, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Ernest Hemingway. This event will celebrate ERS's success with Frances McDormand (Burn after Reading, Fargo), Lili Taylor ('Six Feet Under'), Fred Armisen ('Saturday Night Live'), Frankie Faison ('The Wire'), and ERS company members in a one night only performance of loved, banned and mythologized American fiction. Authors include Edith Wharton, Willa Cather, and Edgar Allan Poe. Readings will be accompanied by ERS's unique signature sound design.
