Ms. Jones won Tony awards in 1995 for her leading role in The Heiress and in 2005 for her leading role in Doubt, and won an Emmy award in 2009 for her role in 24. Fidelity FutureStage® Playwriting Contest winner, Katarzyna (Kathy) Roszczeda, a New York City high school senior, is headed to Broadway this June to see her original play produced on stage at the Imperial Theatre, home to 2009 Tony Award-winning Best Musical, BILLY ELLIOT. On Sunday, April 11, Roszczeda had the opportunity to celebrate by meeting Elton John, BILLY ELLIOT composer and honorary chairperson of Fidelity FutureStage, at opening night of the musical in Chicago.

Fred Applegate, George Hearn, David Patrick Kelly, Michael McCormick, Rondi Reed, Elena Shaddow, James Snyder and Ted Sutherland have been cast in Fanny, the 50th Encores! musical produced by New York City Center since 1994 and the second Encores! production of the season. Fanny, running February 4 - 7, has music and lyrics by Harold Rome and book by S.N. Behrman and Joshua Logan, and is based on Marcel Pagnol's trilogy Marius, Fanny and Cesar. Fanny will be directed by Mark Bruni and choreographed by Lorin Latarro with music direction by Rob Berman.
