Berkshire Theatre Festival Announces 80th Season

Berkshire Theatre Festival Artistic Director Kate Maguire is pleased to announce the company's 2008 80th anniversary season, which will extend from May 22 through December 30 and be the longest-running season in the company's history.

Shirley Jones Stars in 'Music Man' Hartford Concert with Patrick Cassidy

Variety reports Shirley Jones, who starred in the 1962 film version of The Music Man as Marian the Librarian, will return to her roots in a staged concert version of The Music Man at Hartford's Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts.

The New Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein, a new musical comedy from the creative team of the 12-time Tony Award winning smash The Producers, will open on Broadway November 8th 2007 at the Hilton Theatre (213 W 42nd St). Previews begin October 11th 2007. The production stars Roger Bart (Dr. Frederick Frankenstein), Megan Mullally (Elizabeth), Sutton Foster (Inga), Shuler Hensley (The Monster), Fred Applegate (Kemp) and Christopher Fitzgerald (Igor).
