Playwright Peter Shaffer's Amadeus tells of the jealous composer's battle with his God for making him a famous but mediocre talent, while endowing the vulgar Mozart with a heaven-blessed musical gift.

Red Bull Theater will present the American Premiere of a new adaptation of August Strindberg's The Dance of Death by Mike Poulton (Tony Award Nominee for Best Play for Fortune's Fool), directed by Joseph Hardy (Tony Award winner for Best Director for Child's Play), for a strictly limited engagement beginning April 10th and continuing through May 4th only, at the Lucille Lortel Theater (121 Christopher Street, between Bleecker and Hudson Streets). Emmy Award nominee Stefanie Powers will now play the role of legendary actress Tallulah Bankhead on the national tour of LOOPED. Spark is a play about three sisters living in the US and caught in the mess of a recent war's aftermath. It is about what happens when soldiers come home and when women of little economic means must find a way to make do and carry on. It is also about the strength of family. Spark is many things, but ultimately it is a contemporary story of faith, love, trauma, and healing.

Based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, this smash Broadway hit brings the darkly delirious world of Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley and, of course, Lurch to spooky and spectacular life.

Teatro LATEA and Howling Moon Cab Company's world premier of Tango Fever opened with a smashing success. The cast electrified audiences with its dance numbers. Producers of THE ADDAMS FAMILY announced additional dates today for the Fall 2012 leg of the musical's North American tour. The production will play Dallas (Oct. 2 - 21), Seattle (Oct. 24 - Nov. 11), Salt Lake City (Nov. 13 - 18), Las Vegas (Nov.20 - 25), Tempe (Dec. 11 - 16) and Costa Mesa (Dec. 18 - 30). Plus, Curtis Holbrook (West Side Story, Xanadu) will join the cast of the national tour as "Lucas Beineke."

The national tour of The Addams Family, a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will make its Pennsylvania premiere in Pittsburgh tonight, July 31 and play through Sunday, August 12, 2012, at the Benedum Center as part of the Pittsburgh CLO summer season and PNC Broadway Across America-Pittsburgh 2011-12 series.

It's just been announced that this fall, two-time Tony Award winner AL PACINO will be joined on stage by Tony nominee DAVID HARBOUR, Emmy Award winner RICHARD SCHIFF and Tony nominee JEREMY SHAMOS in the Broadway revival of DAVID MAMET'S acclaimed Pulitzer Prize-winning drama GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS. As previously announced, Tony Award nominee BOBBY CANNAVALE has been cast in the role of Richard "Ricky" Roma.
