In all of that time, there has only been one open casting call for Children's Theatre productions, as the casts are usually made up of performers who are invited to join a cast. In addition, the cast for the Children's Theatre productions is made up of professional adult actors. For the first time in its history, the Way Off Broadway Children's Theatre is holding an open casting call for children performers.

She began this summer performing in the Adelaide Cabaret Festival and has just completed her first tour of Australia with MY MUSICAL COMEDY LIFE, before taking it to NY and a sold out crowd at the Laurie Beechman Theater.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre has been one of the most unique entertainment venues in the region since it first opened. Offering a fantastic dinner combined with a Broadway-style show, the Way Off Broadway experience is a full evening of leisure and entertainment. But the dinner theatre is only on piece of what makes up Way Off Broadway. In 1996, the theatre opened, what has become, it's wildly popular Children's Theatre. To this day, the Way Off Broadway Children's Theatre is the only children's lunch matinee offered in the area.

Jean-Claude van Itallie ('The Tibetan Book of the Dead,' 'The Cherry Orchard,' 'The Serpent,' 'Master and Margarita') is writing 'The Mother's Return' as an addition to his seminal work of modern drama, the trilogy known as 'America Hurrah.' From October 15 to 24, 2010, Theatre Research Ensemble (TReE) will perform 'America Hurrah Revisited & The Mother's Return, a work in progress.' The evening is a re-envisioning of a portion of the famed trilogy together with a first staging of the new addition.
