After a national search, Playwrights Horizons announced today the appointment of Kyle Sircus as the institution's new Director of Marketing. Beginning Monday, September 22, Mr. Sircus will join the acclaimed theater company direct from Berkeley Repertory Theatre in Berkeley, CA, where he currently serves as Marketing Manager, a position created especially for him in July 2012. Mr. Sircus will lead the theater company's seven-person Marketing Department.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced its production of Full Gallop, produced by WaterTower Theatre, August 9-31, 2014. The WaterTower Theatre production of Full Gallop will be directed by Terry Martin and stars Diana Sheehan as Diana Vreeland. The production opens Monday, August 11.

A.R. Gurney's enduring romance about first loves and second chances, LOVE LETTERS, will have its first Broadway revival, beginning performances Saturday, September 13, 2014, at 8pm, at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41 Street).

Playwrights Horizons has announced initial casting for its upcoming 2014/2015 Season. The announcement includes casting for the first two shows of the season: initial casting for BOOTYCANDY, the New York premiere of a new play written and directed by Obie Award winner Robert O'Hara (In the Continuum, Antebellum, Insurrection: Holding History); and initial casting for GRAND CONCOURSE, the World Premiere of a new play by playwright and two-time Obie Award-winning actress Heidi Schreck (There Are No More Big Secrets, Creature), directed by Kip Fagan (The Revisionist, Asuncion).

DPAC announced today that individual tickets for the Triangle premiere of Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage will go on sale June 28 at 10 a.m. Tickets are available at the DPAC Ticket Center or by visiting DPACnc.com and Ticketmaster. The Unicorn Theatre in Kansas City, Mo. presents Water by the Spoonful, April 23 through May 18. The play written by Quiara Alergria Hudes and directed by Mark Robbins will run on the Jerome Stage at 3828 Main. Water by the Spoonful won the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and playwright Hudes won the 2008 Tony Award for Best Musical for In the Heights.

Paper Mill Playhouse continue its 75th Anniversary Season with the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical South Pacific. With music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and book by Oscar Hammerstein II and Joshua Logan, South Pacific will be directed by Rob Ruggiero and choreographed by Ralph Perkins. Mike McGowan joins this enchanting cast as Emile de Becque replacing the previously announced Jason Howard.
