FST's Winter Cabaret season begins with four singing sirens in Dancing in the Street with The Prima Donnettes. Developed by FST Artistic Director Richard Hopkins and Jim Prosser, it will begin in the John C. Court Cabaret tonight, October 22, 2014.

Producers Howard Panter and John Frost today announced that beloved theatre and television performer Bert Newton would play the Narrator in the Sydney season of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show. Newton is currently starring as Vince Fontaine in the national tour of John Frost's production of Grease, and has also performed on stage in Wicked, The Producers, Annie, The Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz.

Tony-Nominated Director Randal Myler and multi-talented Music Director Dan Wheetman return to Lone Tree Arts Center (LTAC) to create a new vision for Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn after setting the bar high with Hank Williams: Lost Highway last spring and John Denver Holiday Concert in 2012. Returning to the roots of Mark Twain's classic American folktale, this production of Big River focuses on the talent and voices of the cast as they each become storytellers.

9 Works Theatrical ('Grease,' 'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown') held its first batch of auditions for its upcoming production of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES at Opera Haus in Makati City last week. 42 dancers and 16 theater actors--who can dance--showed up at the auditions.

Additional Broadway credits include: They're Playing Our Song, A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, The House of Blue Leaves, Six Degrees of Separation, Woman in Mind, Four Baboons Adoring the Sun, and The Lion in Winter. She is currently starrign on Broadway in Other Desert Cities at the Booth Theatre.

According to Variety, stage and screen veteran Christopher Plummer will join fellow thespian John Travolta, as well as Tye Sheridan, in THE FORGER. Directed by Philip Martin (Wallander), the movie is set to begin filming in Boston in October.
