LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS & UPRIGHT CABARET are thrilled to announce the performers for its fifth and final show of their second season, CALIFORNIA DREAMIN', starring vocal powerhouse JAKE SIMPSON (2x 'Star Search' Grand Champion, Oprah Winfrey Favorite), Broadway sensation JENNIFER LEIGH WARREN (Broadway: Little Shop of Horrors, Marie Christine, Big River, Regional: Having It All, The Buddy Holly Story, Diamonds Are Forvever, Cinderella - a Modern Musical Extravaganza), JULIE GARNYE, NATHAN SHRAKE and BROOKE TANSLEY, performing the music of The Mamas and The Papas, Linda Ronstadt and The Eagles.

On sale to State Theatre Members Tues, Aug 2 (Box Office window at 453 Northampton Street opens at 6 AM; Online Ticketing and Phone lines open at Noon). Tickets will go on sale to the Public August 16 at 10 AM.

The Stage News reports this morning that Dress Circle, the 'longest-running showbusiness and musical theatre shop in the world' is in danger of closing unless immediate investment funds can be raised. The historic shop, located in London's theatre district of Covent Garden, first opened its doors in 1977 and has since been the go-to place for theater merchandise and memorabilia, sheet music, musical theater CDs and things of the like. It has also hosted may book and CD signings with countless stars.
