American Theater Company (ATC) continues its 2008-09 season with the sixth annual production of It's a Wonderful Life: The Radio Play adapted from Frank Capra's classic film and directed by Damon Kiely. The production will run December 4 -December 28, 2008, at American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron St, Chicago, IL. Press opening is Monday, December 8, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.

Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, Orange County's beloved holiday tradition, returns to South Coast Repertory for its 29th season.

With [title of show] completing the journey from Off-Broadway to Broadway this week, The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization is proud to announce that it has acquired the stock and amateur rights to this hit musical written by Jeff Bowen (music and lyrics), and Hunter Bell (book). In addition to licensing the musical through R&H Theatricals, the Organization will represent Bowen's score through its music publishing division, Williamson Music.

Tony Award winners Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons will return to Broadway to star together in the world premiere of Impressionism, a new American play by Michael Jacobs. The production, which will be directed by Tony Award-winner Jack O'Brien, will come to Broadway in Spring, 2009.

PS CLASSICS is proud to announce the release of ONE OUNCE OF TRUTH: THE NIKKI GIOVANII SONGS, the extraordinary new collaboration from the team of vocalist Capathia Jenkins and songwriter/performer Louis Rosen. The Flea Theater presents the World Premiere of Lower Ninth, a new play inspired by the effects of Hurricane Katrina. Written by Beau Willimon, this new drama will be directed by Daniel Goldstein, and will feature Gaius Charles, James McDaniel and Gbenga Akkinagbe. Performances begin February 14 with opening night scheduled for Thursday, February 28.
