Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) and Grupo Hermosillo today announced the opening of Hyatt Place San Jose del Cabo in Baja California Sur, Mexico. The hotel introduces the Hyatt Place brand to Mexico and follows Hyatt Place San Jose/Pinares in Costa Rica and Hyatt Place Bayamon in Bayamon, Puerto Rico as the third Hyatt Place hotel to open in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) today announced the opening of Hyatt Place Bayamon in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. The hotel's opening marks the first Hyatt Place hotel to enter the Caribbean market and the return of Hyatt-branded hotels to Puerto Rico after a seven-year absence.

The five-time Grammy-winning San Francisco Girls Chorus-Lisa Bielawa, Artistic Director, and Valerie Sainte-Agathe, Music Director and Principal Conductor-- will present two holiday concerts, today, December 6 and the 22nd at First Congregational Church in Berkeley and Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, respectively.

Tarragon Theatre to Present FLESH AND OTHER FRAGMENTS OF LOVE, 1/15-2/16

Tarragon Theatre presents the English-language premiere of Flesh and Other Fragments of Love by the Governor General Award-winning playwright Evelyne de la Cheneliere whose Bashir Lazhar Tarragon produced in 2008. Directed by the theatre's Artistic Director Richard Rose, Tarragon continues its tradition of presenting English premieres of Quebec plays with a translation by Linda Gaboriau. Both a little bit ominous and a little bit magical, this imaginative and surprising take on married life, love and identity opens January 15 and runs to February 16 (with previews from January 7) in Tarragon's Mainspace. As part of its School Day Performances Series, the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center presents Slam Poetry by the Mayhem Poets, a trio of "spoken word" poets, on Tuesday, December 10 at 10am & 12:30pm and on Wednesday, December 11 at 10am. The performance is for young people ages 12 - 18 and runs about 50 minutes. All tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling Cheryl Wheeler at 631-288-2350, ext 102.

Playwrights Horizons has announced initial casting for the New York premiere production of STAGE KISS, a new play marking the eagerly-awaited return of two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Sarah Ruhl(Dead Man's Cell Phone at PH; The Clean House, In the Next Room...) to the theater company. Directed by Rebecca Taichman (Milk Like Sugar at PH; the current Marie Antoinette, Orlando, The Scene, Luck of the Irish), the production will begin previews Friday evening, February 7 at 8PM with an Opening Night set for Sunday, March 2 at 7PM. The limited engagement will play through Sunday evening, March 23 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street).

This production will be aRegional Premier of GIDION'S KNOT, which was a finalist for 2013 Steinberg-ATCA Award for Best New Play. Written by Johnna Adams and directed by Open Stage Executive Artisitc Director Donald Alsedek, the plot centers on the aftermath of a fifth grader's suicide after he is suspended for a violent, graphic piece he wrote and passed around class.

The 40-voice San Francisco Girls Chorus will present "Noel, Noel" Friday, December 6, at 8 pm at First Congregational featuring holiday favorites and an audience sing-along. These 40 award-winning young artists will be joined by the full complement of nearly 400 members of the San Francisco Girls Chorus School, from ages 5 to 18, for the annual Davies Hall holiday extravaganza, Sunday, December 22, at 8 pm. This year's edition, entitled "Hark, the Herald Angels Swing!" will feature the Marcus Shelby Quintet and Shelby's new arrangements of "Go Tell It On The Mountain" and "Hark the Herald" written especially for the San Francisco Girls Chorus plus other seasonal favorites and an audience sing-along.
