PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra presents “Neighborhood Week,” an entire week of classical orchestral and chamber music in some of Pittsburgh's most beloved locales. Beginning on Monday, August 31, the Pittsburgh Symphony will be bringing music to the community with different events each day through Friday, September 4.

Sundance Institute today announced the nine projects selected from 827 submissions for its 2015 Theatre Lab at Sundance Resort in Utah, July 6-26. Under the supervision of Artistic Director Philip Himberg and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, the Lab is the centerpiece of the Institute's year-round work with the theatre community and is one of 24 residency Labs the Institute hosts each year for independent artists in theatre, film, new media and episodic content.

Court Theatre has announced its 2013/14 season under the continuing leadership of Artistic Director Charles Newell, Executive Director Stephen J. Albert, and Board Chair Marilyn Fatt Vitale. The company's 59th season will feature the Chicago Premiere of Katori Hall's The Mountaintop, directed by Resident Artist Ron OJ Parson; the reprise of Denis O'Hare and Lisa Peterson's An Iliad directed by Artistic Director Charles Newell and featuring Timothy Edward Kane; August Wilson's Seven Guitars directed by Ron OJ Parson; and Quiara Alegria Hudes' Water by the Spoonful, directed by Henry Godinez in his Court Theatre debut.
