MCC Theater Extends RIDE THE CYCLONE Due To Popular Demand – Now Through December 29

MCC Theater (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, William Cantler, Artistic Directors; Blake West, Executive Director) has announced a two-week extension - now through December 29, 2016 - for the New York City premiere of MCC Theater's new musical Ride the Cyclone, the third musical in MCC's now-iconic 30-year history of producing new works for the American theater.

The Public Theater presents the New York Premiere of PARTY PEOPLE by UNIVERSES (Steven Sapp, Mildred Ruiz-Sapp, and William Ruiz a.k.a Ninja). Developed and directed by Liesl Tommy with choreography by Millicent Johnnie, PARTY PEOPLE began performances on November 1 and runs through Sunday, December 4, with an official press opening tonight, November 15.

Berkeley Rep today announced that single tickets for the world premiere of the new musical Monsoon Wedding will go on sale to the general public on Monday, November 14. Monsoon Wedding will have its world premiere at Berkeley Rep's Roda Theatre next spring. Previews begin Friday, May 5, 2017 and the show runs through Sunday, June 25, 2017. Press night for Monsoon Weddingwill be Friday, May 19, 2017.

Lincoln Center's acclaimed American Songbook series returns for its 18th season of celebrating the best in American singing and songwriting.
