All through lockdown, many French musical theater performers have been lucky enough to be able to go on developing their craft, tapping their troubles away with master teacher Victor Cuno, who in turn took the opportunity to use their talents to create a new show, simply called Victor Cuno's Broadway Cabaret, showcasing many triple threats who took advantage of their time off from theater commitments to rehearse at Swing Tap Studio near Bastille in Paris. Beginning with a showstopping new version of 'Anything Goes', musical arrangement and choreography by Cuno himself. A delightful special event for the Maison de la Radio's '42ème rue fait son show' was performed last December, and Cuno decided to expand this success into a full show.

Director Marcus Kyd has assembled a solid roster of professional actors to give Michael Milligan's mythic drama, composed entirely in iambic pentameter, a grand staging.  On the Globe Theater's stage it was the actor's presence, the actor's gift of language that held the audience rapt with attention.  Kyd's cast understands this, and gives vivid life to every one of Milligan's lines.

To know Megan Murphy Chambers is to love her: Make no mistake about it, she's as beloved among Nashville's theater community as anyone you could possibly imagine. Her stage appearances are noteworthy and memorable, to be certain, but it's her offstage personality that proves how much everyone loves her. She's thoughtful and kind, funny and charming, sweet and entertaining.

Tei Shi has given us another glimpse of what to expect from her upcoming album today dropping a new song titled 'Red Light'. The song puts her silky vocals front and center and is a lesson in R&B goodness. Tei Shi aka Valerie Teicher tells us, 'Red Light is about a few different relationships in my past - some romantic, some in the work space - that made me feel helpless and powerless. I spent a lot of time in dynamics with close people in my life who didn't encourage or empower me but thrived in making me feel small. The song is about learning from these dynamics, earning more respect for myself and knowing better in the future. It's kind of a diss track, but also on my end it's about letting go of that frame of mind.

Imogen Heap and Guy Sigsworth have teamed up again to release a Frou Frou track “Guitar Song (Live)” today via Linda Perry and Kerry Brown's label,We Are Hear. After amicably disbanding in 2004, Heap and Sigsworth reunited in 2018 to tour as Frou Frou in conjunction with the Mycelia World Tour. The beautiful acoustic ballad serves as a sensational reminder of the creative spark between the British electronic duo. On the new song, Heap's signature ethereal vocals curl around the strum of textured guitar melodies as she sings about an all consuming connection between two friends who are destined to be lovers.
