The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today the details for the 2013 NYFF Convergence, which will run on Saturday, September 28 through Monday, September 30. Building on the success of last year's debut, the second edition of the crowning event for the Film Society of Lincoln Center's year round programming commitment to transmedia will be presented at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center and the Walter Reade Theater with three days of panels, workshops and “immersive experiences.” This year's edition will also feature a special secret event to close out NYFF Convergence that will be announced at a later date.

Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), the leading global music rights organization that represents more than 600,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers in all genres of music and more than 7.5 million works, is partnering with New York real estate company Silverstein Properties, Inc. to host the 3rd annual concert series of free summer music performances in the park in front of Silverstein Properties' 7 World Trade Center (located at 250 Greenwich St.) in downtown Manhattan. The music festival, known as '7@7' is taking place on seven Fridays from July 12th through August 23rd, at 12:00 p.m. with an eclectic lineup of talented performers taking to the BMI stage.

Turner Classic Movies (TCM), Sony Masterworks and Warner Home Video (WHV) are teaming up on a multi-tiered celebration of one of Hollywood's most beloved stars: Doris Day. The celebration includes a new four-movie DVD package of memorable Day performance from WHV (releasing March 13); a brand new double CD set from Sony Masterworks (releasing April 3), with a collection of 31 songs curated by Day herself; and a five-night salute on TCM (April 2-6) This multi-pronged Doris Day tribute is timed to coincide with her birthday on April 3.
