Dallas Theater Center presents the world premiere of Fly, a new musical based on J.M. Barrie's novel, Peter Pan. Three-time Tony Award-winning producer Jeffrey Seller (Rent, Avenue Q, In the Heights) makes his directorial debut with this production.

Playwright/Director Brad T Gottfred, has announced that his most recent work (and only second play for the theatre stage)... Women Are Crazy Because Men Are A**holes will have its West Coast premiere at West Hollywood's Macha Theatre July 25 through September 25, 2013. The premiere is presented by Bleeping Crazy Entertainment in association with Macha Theatre/Films and follows a brief workshop production in Los Angeles and a world premiere in Chicago... both executed during 2011.

Gideon Productions (NYIT Outstanding Premiere Production of a Play Award for Advance Man) will present the World Premiere of playwright Mac Rogers' (The Honeycomb Trilogy; Frankenstein Upstairs) dark comedy LIGATURE MARKS, July 17-27 at The Brick (579 Metropolitan Avenue between Union and Lorimer, Brooklyn) as part of theirGame Play Festival. The production will be directed by Jordana Williams (The Honeycomb Trilogy; Frankenstein Upstairs) and will feature Rebecca Comtois (Viral; Crystal Skillman's Geek! with Vampire Cowboys) and Mac Rogers (NYIT Outstanding Lead Actor Nominee for The Adventures of Nervous-Boy with Nosedive Productions).

FLASHDANCE-THE MUSICAL, the stage adaptation of the 1983 hit film that defined a generation, will perform at the Majestic Theatre for eight performances tonight, June 18-23. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, March 1.

The Gateway's 2013 season continues with "Young Frankenstein," June 12-29 at Bellport's Gateway Playhouse. Based on the movie of the same name, Mel Brooks' Tony nominated "Young Frankenstein" will be making its Long Island premiere at the region's oldest professional theatre.

Funnyman Mel Brooks revealed in a recent interview that he still has 'lots of plans for stage shows' including the long-rumored musical adaptation of 'Blazing Saddles.' Additionally, Brooks is currently in talks to bring Young Frankenstein, which opened on Broadway in 2007, to the West End.

Chichester Festival Theatre will unveil its temporary state-of-the-art auditorium, Theatre in the Park, with a major new production of the musical Barnum, presented in association with Cameron Mackintosh. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced Finn Wittrock as The Actor, Sarah Wayne Callies as The Actress, and Shuler Hensley as The Critic in the Kennedy Center production of The Guardsman in the Eisenhower Theater May 25 to June 23, 2013. Based on the 1910 comedy by Hungarian playwright Ferenc Molnar, The Guardsman features a new literal translation by Richard Nelson and is directed by Gregory Mosher. The press opening will take place on Thursday, May 30 at 7:30 p.m.
