The Victory Gardens Theater will host their 28th Annual Casting Auction, one of Chicago's most unique benefit fundraisers on Saturday, November 14 at 6 pm at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater.

And bringing it to the Orange County Performing Arts Center's Segerstrom Hall audience on Saturday, December 5 at 7:30 p.m. will be the Disco Groove All-Stars, including the legendary Thelma Houston, Cheryl Lynn, Tavares, Maxine Nightingale and A Taste of Honey featuring Janice-Marie, all sharing one band for a seamless evening of top disco hits.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) is proud to have Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine return to Studio 54 with Sondheim on Sondheim, a new original Broadway musical starring Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams, Michael Arden & Leslie Kritzer. Music & lyrics are by Stephen Sondheim, conceived & directed by James Lapine. Sondheim on Sondheim will begin previews on March 19th, 2010 and open officially April 22nd, 2010 at Studio 54 on Broadway (254 West 54th Street). This will be a limited engagement through Sunday, June 13th, 2010.

Matthew White is to direct Tamzin Outhwaite as Charity Hope Valentine in the Tony Award-winning musical Sweet Charity at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Sweet Charity previews from 21 November with press night on 02 December, and runs until 07 March 2010. The box office opens for general public bookings at noon on Thursday 17 September. With book by Neil Simon, music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by Dorothy Fields, choreography is by Stephen Mear, set design by Tim Shortall, costume design by Matthew Wright, musical supervision and direction by Nigel Lilley, orchestrations by Chris Walker, lighting by David Howe and sound design by Gareth Owen.

Mr. Jones is leaving the show early in order to shoot his new series 'Crash Course' for ABC-TV. The Encores!
