The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces a distinguished list of music headliners to be presented at the 55th annual Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival, a production of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. The 10-day celebration of the arts in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is unlike any other in the nation. The world-class, multi-disciplinary festival is free to attend and is open to the public. The Muny presents John O'Hurley in the first show of its fantastic 95th Season, Monty Python's Spamalot, directed and choreographed by Denis Jones. The show opened last night, June 17, and you can check out photos from the show and after party below!

The earnestly eclectic and prolific songwriter Ari Hest returns to The Barns at Wolf Trap for the second time. With an intricate and melodic style of pop/rock music and complementarily poignant and smoky vocals, Hest has found his niche in a genre overpopulated with the status quo. He has maintained a constant tour schedule, averaging nearly 150 shows a year for the better part of a decade. Another testament to his dedication was the ambitious 52 Project. After walking away from his record contract with Columbia, Hest released an original song every week of 2008 before releasing the album 12 Mondays composed of the top 12 songs picked by his fans. He is touring in support of his latest studio effort, 2012's The Fire Plays. Beginning this month, the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) will celebrate the iconic work and enduring legacy of composer Kurt Weill with an unprecedented series of events. Opening on Friday, Oct. 19, and running through Tuesday, March 12, CCM's Kurt Weill Festival will incorporate the renowned theatre composer into a broad range of both public performances and classroom exercises.
