GRAMMY Award-winning Country-Western group Riders In The Sky brings its blissfully twangy, family-friendly tunes to The Barns at Wolf Trap for the first time since 2008. In addition to regular national touring, Riders In The Sky have collaborated with Pixar Animation Studios and won two GRAMMY Awards for their contributions to the soundtrack albums of Monsters, Inc. and Toy Story 2. Their iconic cowboy style and folksy outset of fiddle, guitar, bass, accordion, and vocals have reaped the title of Western Music Association's "Entertainers of the Year" seven times.

In 1982, these charismatic cowboys became the first Western music ensemble to join the Gand Ole Opry radio broadcast. They also host a weekly show called "Ranger Doug's Classic Cowboy Corral," launched in 2006 on SiriusXM Channel 56. With radio, television, and live performances under their belt, this band of musicians has lassoed it all.

Chicago's legendary theatre comedy troupe The Second City returns to The Barns at Wolf Trap with a hilarious new set of sketches, songs, and improvisations. The Second City's current show, Laughing Matters, is an impromptu performance, playing off of everything from celebrity faux pas to the economy and political gaffes. Established more than 50 years ago, the company has helped shape some of comedy's most hilarious personalities, including cast members of NBC's Saturday Night Live Tina Fey, Jason Sudeikis, John Belushi, Mike Myers, and Stephen Colbert. The Second City has also launched the careers of Broadway stars Mike Nichols and Elaine May, and movie leads Bill Murray and the late Chris Farley, to name a few. The popular comedic revue runs an astounding 11 resident theaters across Chicago and Toronto. Second City's Canadian theater landed an Emmy for producing their popular television series SCTV, which featured Eugene Levy, John Candy, Catherine O'Hara, Andrea Martin, and Martin Short.
