 DALLAS, TX, December 8, 2015 – The Dallas Opera will present opera legend Frederica von Stade, mezzo-soprano, for another magnificent performance in The Robert E. and Jean Ann Titus Art Song Recital Series. Carnegie Hall presents Orchestra of St. Luke's in five concerts in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage this season, starting tonight, October 29 at 8:00 p.m. with Principal Conductor Pablo Heras-Casado leading a program that includes Stravinsky's Suite No. 2; and Tchaikovsky's rarely heard Symphony No. 1 in G Minor, Op. 13, 'Winter Daydreams.' Also on the program is Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E Minor, Op. 64 with soloist Christian Tetzlaff.

Eric Owens will begin his tenure as The Mary and James G. Wallach Artist-in-Residence by curating, hosting, and performing in In Their Footsteps: Great African American Singers and Their Legacy, conducted by Thomas Wilkins in his Philharmonic debut.
