Broadway Shines, the organization of Broadway kids serving to mobilize the Broadway community to help children and families in need, will be concluding this year's coat drive on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Since 2010, the kids of Broadway have been supporting GMA's 'Warm Coats & Warm Hearts' drive. The organization has already collected more than 350 coats for the cause this year and anticipates a donation tally of approximately 400 coats.

Broadway Shines will appear on 'Good Morning America' on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 during the 8:30 a.m. half-hour as part of GMA's 'Warm Coats & Warm Hearts' Drive. Broadway kids from On Your Feet and past shows including Billy Elliot, Enron, Evita, Mary Poppins and Shrek will be on location in Times Square lending a helping hand. This year, the goal is to donate 400 coats by working with the cast and crew of The Lion King, Matilda, On Your Feet, Beautiful the Carole King Musical, and Kinky Boots.

Conceived and Directed by Producing Director Laura Connors Hull, written by Jennifer Clements, and featuring puppet design by Margie Jervis, A Christmas Carol Memory will be presented from December 1stthrough the 20th at ArtSpace Falls Church. Curtain times are Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm, and Sundays at 2:00 pm with additional performances on December 18th at 7:00 pm and December 19th and 20th at 7:30 pm. In Cabrillo Music Theatre's new production of Evita, the role of Che, the narrator figure based on Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara, is played by Marc Baron Ginsburg. A Philadelphia native, Ginsburg has enjoyed a varied career on both coasts prior to coming to Cabrillo. His favorite roles include Aaron (First Date,) Lord Farquaad (Shrek), Lawrence Jameson (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), and Quixote/Cervantes (Man of La Mancha), among many others. He also played Fagin in Cameron Mackintosh's First National Tour of Oliver! Marc and his wife Liza, who is also a performer, are recent parents of a son, Phoenix, who was born in June. We talked to Marc about his career and his approach to the key role he is playing in Evita.

Robert Ahrens and Chris Aniello have announced the formation of a new theatrical general management office called LIVE WIRE THEATRICAL MANAGEMENT. With joint experience managing Broadway shows, Ahrens and Aniello will focus on economic budgeting, with the goal of a long and successful commercial run.
