As BroadwayWorld announced this morning, having broken the news first on February 9 thanks to the site's international reach, EVITA is indeed headed back to Broadway in 2011 starring Olivier Award winner Elena Roger as Eva Peron. Variety reports this morning that A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC helmer, Trevor Nunn, is set to direct a revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's ASPECTS OF LOVE for London's Menier Chocolate Factory. Nunn directed the show's premiere in 1987, as well.

Jonathan Pryce is set to star in the first West End Pinter production, The Caretaker, since Harold Pinter's death in December last year. The Caretaker runs at Trafalgar Studios from January 12 - April 17, 2010.

Louise English will be starring as the sultry Gypsy, Rosa, in the new Jon Conway musical All the Fun of the Fair, with David Essex as Levi Lee, which will tour the UK from September 2008 through May 2009 and premieres at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley, from 12-20 September.

The New York Philharmonic will present SONDHEIM: The Birthday Concert on March 15 and Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. This celebration of the 80th birthday of the great Broadway and film composer/lyricist will include his most enduring orchestral music and songs - performed, in some cases, by the stars of the original Broadway cast productions - in addition to rarely-heard material. Jennifer Paz (Les Misérables) will play the role of the Narrator and Dusty 45's Billy Joe Huels will join the cast as Pharaoh. James A. Rocco will return to 5th Avenue to direct. JOSEPH will open October 10th and run through November 1st.
