Matt Mahaffey's Tennessee-based project sElf is thrilled to have their lead single 'Runaway' featured as the iTunes Single of the Week starting TODAY as new EP - Super Fake Nice - drops via El Camino Media. sElf will get to perform 'Runaway' for a nationwide audience when the band makes its TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (Weeknights 11:35/10:35C on ABC) on Wednesday, July 30th. William Shakespeare's famed star-crossed lovers bare their passion Uptown this summer as The Classical Theatre of Harlem (Ty Jones, producing artistic director; David Roberts, managing director) presents Romeo n Juliet at the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park. Justin Emeka, who edited and adapted the tragedy to bring the colorful characters of Harlem to life, returns for the second year in a row as director. Performances, which are free and open to the public, run through this Sunday, July 27.

Critically acclaimed theatre company Third Man Theatre are working at the Old Red Lion for the first time, with the London transfer of their brand new full-length show, Mugs Arrows, which was developed and premiered at the Bike Shed Theatre, Exeter as part of their Residency programme in 2013 receiving rave reviews. The show will run at the Old Red Lion Theatre, Islington from today, 3rd - 21s June 2014. Press night is set for Thursday 5th June, 7.30pm.

Rounding out the cast and making their Alley debuts are Rachael Holmes as Cassandra and Sarah Nealis as Nina. Jonathan Moscone, Artistic Director of California Shakespeare Theater, helms the production and returns after having directed the Alley's 2011 production of Amadeus.

Nine-time Grammy Award winning artist John Legend has announced dates for his 2014 North American tour titled An Evening with John Legend: The All of Me Tour with Philadelphia performance in the Kimmel Center's Verizon Hall on May 20 at 7:30 p.m. The tour which begins March 20th in Temecula, CA and goes through early June will feature Legend in an intimate and acoustic setting, highlighted by guitar/vocal accompaniment as well as a string quartet. Other stops on the tour will include a night at the prestigious Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, CA on March 26 as well as the Brooklyn Academy of Music in Brooklyn, NY on May 31.

At Saturday's grand opening of Chance Theater's Bold New Home, Wylie Aitken, a major arts supporter and chair of the California Arts Council, announced that he has made a $250,000 contribution to name the new home of the Chance after his lovely wife, Bette Aitken. The new name will be the Bette Aitken Theater Arts Center. The official dedication ceremony will be scheduled soon.

Banjo virtuoso and 14 time Grammy Award winner Bela Fleck performs new work with Brooklyn Rider from recent collaborative album release, The Imposter, on Saturday, February 1 at 8 p.m. in the Merriam Theater. This performance features Bela Fleck on banjo performing new work written specifically for a banjo quintet with Brooklyn Rider members Johnny Gandelsman (violin), Colin Jacobsen (violin), Nicholas Cords (viola) and Eric Jacobsen (cello) joining him on stage.

Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts will host a developmental production of a new one-woman show,Skinny Bitch: NOT A Stand-Up Comedy Show, starring self-titled equal opportunity offender, Lisa Lampanelli. The production, which is written by Ms. Lampanelli and 700 Sundays writer Alan Zweibel, will be helmed by Tony Award-winning director John Rando. The production will play the Kimmel Center's Innovation Studio for FIVE nights: October 10 - 12 at 8 p.m. and October 13 at 3 p.m.; with new dates October 25-26 at 8 p.m., October 26-27 at 3 p.m. now available for ticket purchase.
