New York City's famed MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale) - founded in 1941 by legendary conductor Robert Shaw - will celebrate its 75th anniversary during the 2016-2017 season.

Kansas City Ballet Artistic Director Devon Carney today announced the appointment of six new members, Kelsey Hellebuyck, Emily Mistretta, Gustavo Ribeiro, Amaya Rodriguez, James Rogers, Kevin Wilson, and three new apprentices, Ivan Braatz, Sarah Joan Smith, and Katherine Sawicki to the Kansas City Ballet Company.

Kokandy Productions is pleased to celebrate its fifth anniversary with an expanded season featuring four fully produced musicals, including two Chicago premieres and two guest directors. KANSAS CITY, MO (March 24, 2016) — Artistic Director Devon Carney announced the choreographers chosen for New Moves, a unique performance series designed to search out, develop and showcase emerging choreographers, both from the national dance scene as well as within Kansas City Ballet. New Moves is intended to provide time and space for choreographers to create world premiere works with accomplished professional dancers. New Moves will feature choreographers Jennifer Archibald, Andrew Skeels, Stephanie Martinez, and Kansas City Ballet company dancers Sarah Chun, Charles Martin and Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye.

Star of stage and screen Vicki Michelle will make her Park Theatre debut in Hello Norma Jeane by Dylan Costello in PARK90 from 23 February - 19 March, directed by Matthew Gould. Produced by Giant Cherry Productions, the play was a winner in Chicago's Great Gay Play Contest 2012 and follows their sell-out The Glass Protege at Park Theatre in 2015. MARENA PEREZ, principal dancer of the Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico, DANIEL RAMIREZ, principal soloist of the Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico, and CRISTIAN LAVERDE KÖNIG, former principal dancer of the Milwaukee Ballet, will appear as guest artists in Ballet Arts' production of The Nutcracker on December 11, 12 & 13, 2015 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, Tennessee.

The enthralling, Tony Award-winning drama inspired by the life of artist Mark Rothko continues the 2015-2016 ESL Wilson Stage Series as Geva Theatre Center presents Red by John Logan and directed by Skip Greer in the Elaine P. Wilson Stage from October 20 through November 15.
