As part of the festivities, TCM will partner with the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce as they honor Brooks with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which marks its 50th anniversary this year. Paul Gemignani will conduct the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for the show's three performances, Aug. 13-15. Hearn and LuPone also reunite with Michael Cerveris, Audra McDonald and the CSO for an all-Sondheim gala concert on July 31.

A report in The Canadian Press says that comedian Mel Brooks is working on a musical adaptation of his 1974 film 'Blazing Saddles'. Brooks says he has written two songs for the show and is currently working on a third.
