George Street Playhouse and Artistic Director David Saint have announced the casting of MARLO THOMAS, award-winning actress of stage and screen, in the world premiere production of Clever Little Lies, by Tony Award-winner JOE DiPIETRO (rescheduled from the 2012-13 season). Mr. Saint will helm the production, slated to take the stage in New Brunswick, November 19 - December 22. The remainder of the cast will be announced at a later date.

9 Livingston Avenue in New Brunswick will be rockin' every night beginning September 24 with music and laughter. George Street Playhouse and Artistic Director David Saint have announced casting for the opening production for the venerable theatre's fortieth season. Gettin' The Band Back Together (formerly titled Garage Band) is a rockin' valentine to the Garden State, and will be directed by Tony Award-winner John Rando - who also helmed The Toxic Avenger in New Brunswick (and New York) a few seasons back. Gettin' The Band Back Together will rock the house beginning Tuesday, September 24 and continue through Sunday, October 27. Opening night is set for Friday, October 4. Gettin' The Band Back Together is performed by special arrangement with Davenport Theatrical Enterprises, Inc. and Roy Putrino.

The original cast of two-time Tony winner Joe DiPietro’s CONSCIENCE has come together again for a virtual reading of the play with George Street Playhouse for streaming this week ending today (Saturday). Due to the shutdown of theaters throughout the state in March, the world premiere of the production was canceled just days after it opened.

Tony Award and Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Jane Alexander, Robert Cuccioli (GSP's The Seafarer) and Gareth Saxe (Broadway's The Homecoming), will reunite in their roles of Thom Thomas' A Moon to Dance By at the George Street Playhouse from November 17 - December 13. The three previously collaborated on the production at the REP in Pittsburgh.

Due to conflicting schedules, Ken Ludwig's FOX ON THE FAIRWAY has been moved to the 2010-2011 season. SYLVIA will be directed by David Saint and will run March 30th, 2010 through April 25th, 2010.

Wolfe, who directed the show's sold-out Broadway engagement last season, mounts the professional D.C.-area premiere of this production, which features returning Broadway cast members Patrick Breen and Luke MacFarlane, among others. George Street Playhouse has announced full casting for New Year's Eve a world premiere from the pen of ARTHUR LAURENTS.
