Some plays maintain their relevance because some horrors never go away. Ariel Dorfman's captivating psychological thriller Death and the Maiden is one such work. Featuring Susie Porter, Eugene Gilfedder and Steve Mouzakis, this new co-production between Sydney Theatre Company (STC) and Melbourne Theatre Company (MTC) is at The Wharf from tonight 28th August (opening night 1 September), following a season in Melbourne.

Steven Berkoff and Shobu Kapoor return to the stage to play opposite Sanjeev Bhaskar in the world premiere of Anthony Horowitz's new play Dinner with Saddam. The production, directed by Lindsay Posner, opens on 22 September, with previews from 10 September, and runs until 14 November.

Mary Chase's Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy HARVEY directed by Lindsay Posner, will open at Birmingham Repertory Theatre on 6 February, running until 21 February. First produced on Broadway in 1944 where it ran for four years, this new production stars James Dreyfus as Elwood P. Dowd and Maureen Lipman as his sister, Veta.
