Los Angeles quintet Young Hunting have revealed their new single 'Crimes' from their sophomore album True Believers out on February 15 via Gold Robot Records (pre-order). The track premiered at PopMatters and can also be shared at Soundcloud. About the song PopMatters says, ''Crimes' is the latest offering from Los Angeles-based dream pop outfit Young Hunting. The tune is an appropriate blend of the world-weary and the resolute. Filled with vocal harmonies that would not have been out of place on radio during the 1970s with musical settings that recall the warmth and glory of LPs by all those listed above, 'Crimes' is quietly and strangely anthemic (if you can imagine T.S. Eliot's famed antihero J. Alfred Prufrock crafting an anthem), a balm for the heartbroken and soul-searching.'

The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia (COP) explores the sound of the pipa alongside familiar European repertoire with works of Mozart and Dvo?ak. These works for strings by master composers are followed by a traditional Chinese tune arranged by COP's own Dirk Brosse. The Pipa is showcased alongside the Chamber Orchestra's sound in Lou Harrison's Concerto for Pipa with String Orchestra. Wu Man will also first introduce us to the instrument by playing a solo piece for the Pipa in the intimate setting of the Perelman Theater.

Groovy. Effortless. Cool. The music of Daft Punk penetrates one's psyche upon first listen and there it remains. Such is the power Daft Punk's music holds and it's no wonder their original productions have shattered expectations and become objects of imitation for music-creators who came after. The California-based producers, Traveler and PHYNX, are amongst Daft Punk's millions of admirers, but the Traveler and PHYNX take on this Daft Punk original is quite unique. The Traveler & PHYNX Remix of Daft Punk's 'Give Life Back To Music' is out now.

Optimistic. Vibrant. Soaring. As cherry blossoms explode in bloom in the Northern Hemisphere, spring gives way to summer and soon this season's pop anthems will radiate from open car windows out onto the streets. The first pop anthem of summer 2018 will surely be Maarten Vorwerk & Traveler's 'Go With Me,' out now on VRWRK.
