The Stage reports exclusively today that Andrew Lloyd Webber is close to inking a deal with a group headed by Michael Grade, the former BBC and ITV chairman. According to the report: 'The Stage understands that a deal was agreed earlier this week- believed to be in the region of £50 million - for a consortium led by Grade and theatrical agent Michael Linnit to purchase the New London, Palace, Cambridge and Her Majesty's theatres in London....Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group will retain ownership of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, London Palladium and its 50% stake in the Adelphi Theatre, which is co-owned with US company Nederlander.'

According to casting notices and comments from official production representatives, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical will makes it way to Broadway in March 2011. The scheduled date for the 'her' arrival is March, 6th, 2011 according to production officials. There is no theatre or casting set at this time.

The 3/18 performance of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, the Musical at the Palace Theater was canceled mid-performance due to set malfunctions. A spokesperson for Priscilla stated 'We had a problem with our leading lady last night - the bus - but we have every intention of performing tonight.' They went on to say that performances will resume March 19.

On Saturday, February 2 Nina Söderquist was crowned as the new Lady of the Lake for the hit West End Musical Monty Python's Spamalot.
