Overture announced its 2017/18 Broadway and Overture Presents season, which features over 100 performances which have collectively garnered more than 25 Tony Awards® and 15 Grammys® and include Madison debuts, international stars and return favorites.

Spring has sprung at Dino's Backstage and The Celebrity Room with April's lively entertainment lineup! This month's performances (in order of appearance) include Jonathan Karrant, Courtney Day, Paula Johns "Happy Birthday Ella", Bob Egan (for his Singer's Showcase), Michael Richard Kelly with a special birthday celebration weekend for Dino Kelly-Cataldi and, the last weekend in April features Jeffrey Coon. Dino's Backstage and The Celebrity Room - the unique dining and entertainment experience reminiscent of the sophisticated supper clubs of the 40s and 50s - is located at 287 Keswick Avenue in Glenside, PA.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley continues its 2016/2017 season with a musical saga of immigrant America, Rags. From the creators of Fiddler on the Roof and Wicked, this exhilarating musical follows the journey of Jewish immigrants Rebecca and her son David, who find themselves navigating the teeming, turn-of-the-century tenements of New York. A soaring, tuneful score (music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Stephen Schwartz) illuminates this sweeping saga (book by Joseph Stein) of dreams and disillusions, love lost and inspiration found, and the heart and soul of the American character. It was declared "A winner, warm and witty. You are tempted to rise cheering," by The Mercury News. Rags will be directed by TheatreWorks Founding Artistic Director Robert Kelley, who notes "this production could not be timelier. As America debates immigration policies, what better time to present this deeper look at the newcomer's experience." The long-running Off-Broadway show PERFECT CRIME will make history on Tuesday, April 18th becoming the first play in New York City to ever reach a milestone 30th Anniversary.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts will present the World Premiere of American Ballet Theatre's new production of Whipped Cream, choreographed by ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky, with sets and costumes by pop-surrealist Mark Ryden. ABT will give seven performances of the full-length work March 15-19, 2017 in Segerstrom Hall.
