Big Noise Theatre Company is seeking actors for its second production of their 10th anniversary season, Butterflies are Free, written by Leonard Gershe.

Big Noise Theatre Company, a division of Winnetka Theatre, announces auditions for Butterflies Are Free Tuesday, November 1 between 7pm and 9pm.

Over Labor Day weekend, Blythe Danner will join Judy Carmichael at the 2011 Tanglewood Jazz Festival in Lenox, MA to sing and talk about jazz. The program will be recorded for Carmichael's NPR show "Jazz Inspired" to be aired at a later date.

Marin Ireland, Eric Bogosian, Isiah Whitlock Jr. and John Guare join the previously announced Blythe Danner, Ted Danson, Parker Posey, Peter Dinklage, Lili Taylor, Michael Stuhlbarg at the Soho Rep SPRING GALA 2011 honoring Marian Seldes. Co-hosted by Mr. Bogosian and Tim Blake Nelson the evening will also feature musical performances by Jomama Jones & The Lisps. The stage performance will feature scenes and songs from past and upcoming Soho Rep shows. Special musical guest will be Jomama Jones - who had a critically acclaimed run at Soho Rep earlier this season - in addition to The Lisps, performing a song from their new musical FUTURITY. Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 Gala will honor musical theater composer extraordinaire Stephen Schwartz on Monday evening, September 13, at 6 p.m. A star-studded production, 'The Magical Music of Stephen Schwartz,' will recognize Schwartz's innumerable songwriting contributions to American theater and film.
